Crowdy Head Charters

Manning Point Beach and Farquhar Inlet
Starting at the southern side of the Manning River entrance, this beach runs for around 10km to Farquhar Inlet, a popular spot for beach camping. It's a favourite with 4WD enthusiasts and surf anglers,... and the beach is the only four-wheel-drive route to the Farquhar Park camping area. A MidCoast Council beach permit is required for all vehicles.
Crowdy Gap Walking Track
This brief but steep track leads from Crowdy Gap campground down to Crowdy Beach through rare coastal rainforest of turpentine and scentless rosewood. Look out for koalas, regent bowerbirds and swift parrots... along the way, then enjoy long views up the coast to Diamond Head. Park entry fees apply.
Mermaid Lookout Track
A short 1.4km return walk from Diamond Head that crosses a creek footbridge and climbs to a lookout over Dunbogan Beach towards North Brother mountain. Expect secluded coves, sweeping beaches and colourful... wildflowers in season. Whales can be seen passing during the migration months. Park entry fees apply.
Diamond Head Loop Walk
This 4.3km medium-grade loop in Crowdy Bay National Park links beaches, lookouts and striking quartz-studded cliffs. The track winds through heath and paperbark forest with wide views across the bay, and... dolphins are often spotted offshore. Allow around 1.5 to 2.5 hours, starting from Diamond Head campground.
